BUTTON & BLINDS:

A flat disk is used at the Texas Hold’em Poker Table. This is called the Dealer-Button which indicates the theoretical Dealer of each Hand.

After each Hand is completed, as defined in Standard Poker Rules, the Button then moves clockwise to the next Active Player. This Player will be considered to be Playing the Button for that Hand. In Texas Hold’em the Player to the left of the Button is first to receive a Card and is required to Post a Small Blind. The Small Blind is equal to half the Lower-limit Bet rounded down to the nearest dollar. The Player to the left of the Small Blind is required to post the Big Blind, equal to the Lower-limit Bet. These Poker Blind Structure Rules for Texas Hold’em are the same as found in Brick & Mortar Card Rooms.

Both Blinds in Texas Hold’em Poker are considered Live Bets and therefore, according to Poker Rules, Players have the option of Checking, Calling, Raising or Folding when the betting action returns to their position. After the Flop and each subsequent Betting Round, the first active Texas Hold’em Player left of the Button is first to act. In this manner, we proudly offer you a genuine Card Room experience.

When a Player first sits at an active Texas Hold’em Table they'll be required to Post the equivalent of the Big Blind, an important feature of Online Poker Rules. All Players have the option of Sitting Out and waiting for the actual Big Blind before starting to play Texas Hold’em. Fairness is ensured to all Players with these Rules. By preventing Players from constantly entering Poker games in a late position and leaving before they're required to Post, these Rules stop potential abuse of the Online environment.

PLAYING POT LIMIT

Once you know how to play Limit Omaha High, Limit Omaha Hi/Lo and Limit Hold'em, the Rules for Pot-Limit are very easy to learn. The difference between regular limit games and Pot-limit games is when it comes to the Betting amounts. The Betting Rules are simple:

Minimum eligible Raise: The Raise amount must be at least as much as the previous Bet or Raise in the same Round. As an example, if the first Player to act Bets $10 then the second Player must Raise a minimum of $10 (total Bet of $20).

Maximum eligible Raise: The size of the pot is defined as the total of the Pot in the middle, plus all Bets on the table, plus the amount the Active Player must first Call before Raising. As an example, the Pot in the middle is $20, and the first Player to act in the Round Bets $15, and the next Player calls the $15 ... then the third Player has a Maximum Eligible Total Bet of $80. The $80 total is his $15 Call and $65 Raise. The $65 Maximum Raise portion is equal to the Pot of $20 + first Player's $15 + second Player's $15 + his own Call of $15. There is no Cap to the number of Raises in Pot-Limit games.

When playing, you have a Betting "Slider" which allows you to Bet many amounts between the minimum and maximum allowable Bet size. At each Pot-Limit Table there is a Maximum Buy-In amount. There are currently three different Maximum Buy-in amounts of $50, $100 and $200 in order to ensure all Players have an opportunity to be competitive at Pot-Limit without having to compete against Players with thousands of dollars in front of them.

Pot-Limit games can be thrilling and for newer Players we recommend getting familiar with the large Betting amounts at the Tournament Tables where you can better control the amount of money you wish to risk.

(ALL-IN POLICY: If you are connected to the game Server when it is your turn to act in a No-Limit or Pot-Limit game and you Timeout by not acting within the allowable 30 seconds, your hand will be FOLDED).

PLAYING NO LIMIT

Once you know how to play Limit Texas Hold'em or Limit Omaha Hi/Lo, the rules to No-Limit are very easy to learn. Click to see the Rules of Limit Hold'em or Limit Omaha Hi/Lo. The difference between regular Limit Hold'em and No-Limit Hold'em is when it comes to the Betting amounts. The Betting Rules are very simple:

Minimum eligible Raise: The Raise amount must be at least as much as the previous Bet or Raise in the same Round. As an example, if the first Player to act Bets $10 then the second Player must Raise a minimum of $10 (total Bet of $20).

Maximum eligible Raise: All of the Chips you have at the Table!

When playing, you have a Betting "Slider" which allows you to Bet many amounts between the minimum and maximum allowable Bet size. There is no Cap to the number of Raises in No-Limit games.

At each No-Limit Table there is a Maximum Buy-In amount. Right now there are two different maximum Buy-in amounts of $50 and $100 in order to ensure all Players have an opportunity to be competitive at No-Limit without having to compete against Players with thousands of dollars in front of them.

No-Limit games are very exciting and for newer Players we recommend getting familiar with the large Betting amounts at the Tournament Tables where you can better control the amount of money you wish to risk.

(ALL-IN POLICY: If you are connected to the game Server when it is your turn to act in a No-Limit or Pot-Limit game and you Timeout by not acting within the allowable 30 seconds, your hand will be FOLDED).

These rules are in place to protect the Integrity and Fairness of the games for all Players.
